NOTE: these are a different style than our previous pea flakes which were in the shape of squares. These are smaller, less uniform pieces.

Split peas are a good source of protein and fiber, especially soluble fiber. They contain nutrients and compounds that support health and prevent chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, inflammation, osteoporosis and cancer.

Peas are high in lysine (an essential amino acid) however they are also mildly high in protein so they do need to be fed sparingly but we like to think this makes them even more special! We recommend using these as a training treat, especially to tempt shy babies who won't normally take treats from your hand...they're sure to be enticed by these!

SUGGESTED USE: 1/2 tsp daily per 5 lbs. body weight. We recommend offering pea flakes no more than 2-3 times per week. Sprinkle over food or directly onto a mat or bowl or stuff a pinch into chew toys to promote feeding, foraging, and enrichment.

STORAGE: for maximum freshness transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight

SHELF LIFE: dried goods will stay viable for 1-3 years if properly stored; beyond that potency begins to decline but they are still safe to consume
